Back in Action

I'm back! I was so happy when I heard that my computer was going to make it :) Just in time for me to share some of my spoooky Halloween decorations!

I am such a sun goddess and would be happy if earth only had one season...summer! But for some reason I have really been embracing the fall. I love the sound of the rain drops, the colours of the leaves falling, Thanksgiving (for those Canadians out there), pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks and of course Halloween!

I recently took a trip to my local craft store and found some amazing Martha Stewart decorations. This was my first year decorating for Halloween so I tried REALLY hard to keep it to a minimum. This was more difficult than it sounds; at first I went a bit overboard and realized my house was starting to look like a haunted house at fairs lol.

I have now developed this obsession with crows; they are so spooky for some reason. I will be buying tons more next year. I carved my pumpkin way to early so it has already wrinkled :( Oh well, that gives me an excuse to carve some more!

I hope all of my Canadian friends out there had a lovely Thanksgiving long weekend. I did lots of painting so stay tuned for pictures.

Your place looks great. Personally, I love pumpkins, anything pumpkin, food, decorations, and colour. Until I started at university, I had an annual pumpkin party where all the treats were pumpkin related and the house was decked out with all forms of pumpkins. I kinda went crazy. Like you I'm a summer bumpkin, but the thought of pumpkins gets me through the fall.
