I recently received an email from the most wonderful woman. She is the owner of this great cedar chest. She loves the chest but it didn't quite fit with the style of her house...which is beautiful by the way! Her vision was to have the chest a creamy white with a bit of distressing.
I sanded, primed and did several coats of a creamy white paint. I also sealed the top with varathane to give it a smooth finish.
